December 7, 2022 — A fiery Gemini Full Moon arrives on Wednesday at 8:08pm Pacific Time, conjunct the ongoing Mars retrograde. A crescendo of energy has been building leading up to this lunation, and we may find that our words and anger are exploding. We can generate patience to offset any impulsivity that’s igniting now.

If we’ve been holding back from speaking our truth or confronting difficult issues, it’s time to rally our bravery and communicate with directness. We might find release from speaking our minds and engaging in healthy arguments, while still retaining our open-mindedness, curiosity, and humor.

Mars retrograde has been destabilizing and confusing since it started on October 30, 2022. We could now finally release some of our mounting frustrations and murkiness, though pain and intensity are possible. 

Our triggers are extra sensitive now, and we could look to see where we need to make decisions, especially in the realm of relationships. Attachment wounding is particularly activated, and we’re ready to heal our anxious and avoidant tendencies while learning to engage in healthier dialogue and intimacy.

Neptune is also stationing direct today and widely squaring the Full Moon and Mars. Because of this, the Gemini Full Moon could represent a turning point around any situations we’ve been confused by. We can take extra care in determining what path we will now choose. It’s essential to breathe deeply and slow down since we may feel agitated, critical, anxious, or frustrated. However, all of these feelings are helping us recalibrate and eventually find a new direction forward.

The key now is to apply courage and brutal honesty to make the changes that are necessary for our lives to become more peaceful and fulfilling. We can remember to laugh at ourselves and not feel too heavy through this process. In our most painful moments, laughter can be medicine that dispels our demons, helping us face ourselves and each other without becoming mired in judgment or self-loathing. Our imperfections make us human. We can call on Gemini’s adaptability and nuance to remember that we are lovable, even if we need a little improvement.

On this Gemini Full Moon, may we be courageously honest, staying with our discomfort as we hash things out. May we rectify bad decisions and own our mistakes, correcting course while we pave the way toward deeper and healthier intimacy, dialogue, and connection.
