May 30, 2022 — A Gemini New Moon arrives on Monday at 4:30am Pacific Time, ending eclipse season and lightening our hearts. The combination of two eclipses and Mercury retrograde has triggered enormous change and unexpected events. It’s been drawing unconscious forces to the surface for us to confront and sort out. While at times, this has been unduly painful and challenging, these are the types of catalysts necessary to correct course and experience inward and outward transformation.

Now, this Gemini New Moon is helping us open to a lighter energetic chapter—one that’s marked by clearer minds and and more honest communication. We may experience new insights about how we have or have not been expressing ourselves. We can stop and ask –

• Is there something I need to say that I’ve kept inside?

• What changes do I need to make in my perception that could facilitate more ease in speaking my truth and connecting more deeply with others?

• What beliefs or thought patterns still need questioning and dismantling?

Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, is still in retrograde and currently squaring restrictive Saturn. We’ll need a little more patience to experience the full fruition of this New Moon. As soon as Mercury stations direct on June 4, then crosses the degree of the Gemini New Moon later in the month, we will feel the full effects of any decisions and fresh starts initiated now.

In the meantime, we’re continuing to go inward, carefully reflecting on old relationships, conversations, and mentalities, witnessing ourselves with Gemini’s refreshing curiosity. We can also harness the Twins’ humor and playfulness as we determine where we’d like to go from here.

With Saturn at play, we may feel a little pessimism. He’s also exaggerating the feeling that we know what we need to say or do, but there’s something holding us back. Perhaps external events or circumstances are blocking us, even though we’re starting to possess more internal clarity. But as always, Saturn, Lord of Time, keeps the rhythm, and we can trust that anything slowing us down is making sure that we learn the lessons necessary to attain long-term success. We have limited time and resources now, and through these constraints, we are learning what’s most important to us—

• What should we focus on, and what should we let go?

• Has anything been taking up too much of our mental space?

The inquiries of this Gemini New Moon will grant us better communication channels, decisiveness, and greater humor and maturation in how we solve problems and show up for each other. With Venus and the North Node in Taurus while Mars is in Aries, we can harness our newfound self-worth and courage as we speak our minds and unveil ourselves with greater love, simplicity, and resolve.
