December 3, 2021 — The Sagittarius Total Solar Eclipse arrives on Friday, at 11:43pm Pacific Time. The Moon is obscuring the Sun, jolting us into powerful new energies and alignments. Falling on the South Node, this eclipse requires us to release old emotions and limiting beliefs, which have become magnified over the past couple of weeks. We can loosen our grips and invite our feelings to arise as they are, without altering them. This way, they can move through us and dissolve.

Eclipses trigger spiritual death and rebirth. As the past falls away, we can anchor into our highest purpose and truest intentions. These fresh energies pouring in are operating in the highest good, helping us raise our frequencies and step into more elevated versions of ourselves. Our outlooks and mentalities are lightening up as we let go of outworn feelings and break through blockages.

This is the final eclipse that falls along the Gemini-Sagittarius axis, which has been activated since June 2020. We might pause to reflect on all that we’ve learned since then—

What new wisdom have we acquired? How have our belief systems altered? Have we made progress in healing our thought patterns and communication?

For the past eighteen months, we’ve witnessed our resilience and observed our mind’s potentials. We’ve felt the pain in telling ourselves harmful stories, but also our strength and courage in pulling ourselves out of despair.

What insights and intelligence will we carry forward into our next chapter? How can we continue to live in the moment, find humor, and enjoy our lives, no matter what?

This eclipse lines up with the Ascendant of the United States, and we are ready to embrace new ideals as a country—an evolved culture that’s more inclusive, and eventually less divided. The largest Civil Rights Movement started just after the North Node moved into Gemini in May 2020, exposing faulty conditioning in the collective psyche—like white supremacy, fragility, lack of empathy, and stubbornness.

After this eclipse, the nodes change signs again on January 18, 2022, with the North Node moving into Taurus. We are now wrapping up this very activated period, defined by a tornado of opinions and beliefs. In January, we will move into a quieter but equally powerful new trajectory. We can take with us the wisdom of potent karmic reckonings as we celebrate a transformation of culture, language, and ideals.

If we’ve been resisting change, we might ask ourselves why. Impermanence is inevitable. Change and death are part of life on Earth. The more we lean into this, the less suffering we’ll feel.

How can we educate ourselves and align with the wisdom of progress, rather than resisting it?

We can celebrate the end of this eclipse season and generate excitement for the coming year, which will bring more fresh energies, lessons, and rapid evolutions in consciousness. We’ve worked through so much as individuals and as a society, and we can now appreciate the new doors opening to us as a result.
