August 27, 2022 —The Virgo New Moon arrives on Saturday at 1:17am Pacific Time, forming a tight square to Mars in Gemini. Normally, this would create considerable tension and conflict. However, Mars is forming a Grand Air Trine with Mercury and Pluto. We can now meet our anger and disagreements, working through them with productive conversations and revelations of truth.

We’re clarifying what we want and finding the courage and proper words to express ourselves. With Venus opposite Saturn and square to Uranus and the North Node, our relationships are shifting dramatically. We’re finding new commitments and approaches that are more evolved, both individually and collectively.

• How can we align our truth with our words and actions?

• How can our truest desires manifest as new types of relationships, collaborations, and agreements?

During this New Moon, we can call on Virgo’s gentle support to organize our thoughts and yearnings. At the same time, we can go easy on ourselves, understanding that no one is perfect. If we allow ourselves to be messy, we can extend that same generosity to others.

We’re preparing for Mercury and Mars to retrograde, and we’ll have ample time over the next few months to reflect on past conflicts and mistakes. We are already in Mercury retrograde’s shadow, and we can take this opportunity to integrate our thoughts and feelings after any disruptions or calamity from the past few weeks. We're clearing the way for our continued deepening as we establish healthier dynamics with ourselves and each other. Working through unconscious anger and mental distortions, we can learn to assert ourselves without unnecessary triggering.

Virgo New Moon Aspiration

On this Virgo New Moon, may we settle our wild minds and work through recent conflicts and disagreements. May we be gentle with ourselves as we prepare for a period of major recalibration, breakthrough, and the emergence of a new reality.
