May 7, 2024 — A Taurus New Moon arrives on May 7, lighting up the conjunctions between Venus, Jupiter, and Uranus, which become exact later in the month. This is a powerful line-up of planets, inspiring love, revolution, and peace, while breaking us out of stubborn patterns and obstacles.

Major transits struck last month. Eclipse season churned up our shadows, fears, anger, and unresolved karma, while the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction sparked chaos, rebellion, and massive change. Now, Neptune is on the anoretic degree of Pisces, and we may feel a little lost or confused, like reality is hard to grasp. This grounded Taurus New Moon is here to help us integrate recent disruptions and anxieties. The Bull reminds us to slow down, connect with our bodies and the Earth, and calm our nervous systems, especially if we’re undergoing important change.

Saturn sextiles the New Moon, offering extra stability. We can take time to anchor into ourselves—relishing nature and practicing great self-care. 

Meanwhile, we are supported in making our dreams real. Taking time to clarify our desires, we can name what we want to call in. We can imagine our hearts beaming like the Sun, growing larger and larger until they encompass the whole universe. Our hearts are ready to merge with others in love and support. We’re joining together to imagine another version of our lives, relationships, and humanity.

So much is possible. The ground is shaking, and we’re ready to birth whole new worlds. Hope, inspiration, and love are carrying us onto fresh terrain. We only need to remember to pause and ground into silence, letting the Earth hold us at she also shakes us awake.
