August 19, 2024 — An Aquarius Full Moon Supermoon arrives on Monday, forming a T-square with shocking Uranus and Mercury retrograde in Leo. This is one of the most dramatic Full Moons of the year. The planets are jolting us awake, ensuring that we undergo drastic change. Unexpected events are helping us become more authentic in our self-expression and relationships. We can trust that any plot twists we experience are here to slingshot us toward rapid evolution and liberation, both on the collective stage and in our own hearts and lives.

Communication has been confusing throughout this extra challenging Mercury retrograde, but we are beginning to make headway in understanding its lessons. We’ve been analyzing our thought patterns and miscommunications, making difficult adjustments that ultimately free us.

With Jupiter and Mars together squaring Venus, there’s a part of us that wants to leap impulsively toward whatever we feel passionate about. But Saturn is slowing us down, ensuring that we proceed with integrity and care.

At the same time, we are barely out of a T-square with Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn. Venus, planet of love and peace, and Mars, planet of sex and war, are still exacting their squares. We are working through issues regarding relationships, money, creativity, sexuality, and self-worth. We may feel high hopes around what could be, but obstacles are coming in to help us fine tune our dreams and recalibrate our projects and partnerships.

Massive cultural shifts are underway as we experience the first of three squares between Jupiter and Saturn, exact on August 19—the same day as the Full Moon. The tides are turning toward a new version of reality and humanity, and disagreements over values and ideologies are brewing.

Road blocks, stress, confusion, and overthinking are possible now. If we can simplify and slow down, we have the opportunity for breakthrough and long-term change. On a personal level, the message might be: We are perfect as we are, but we could use a little improvement. On a collective level: We are making good progress, but we can do even better.

On this Aquarius Full Moon, may we embrace major change and breakthrough while anchoring into integrity. May we celebrate our big bursts of growth while committing to the hard work that’s necessary to sustain them.
