February 9, 2024 — An Aquarius New Moon forms on Friday in a tense square to Uranus in Taurus. With Pluto also in Aquarius, the sign of the Water Bearer is vibrating with extra potency. This New Moon is igniting fresh energies, rebellion, and ways of being. It’s igniting flashes of insight and big changes that will affect our long-term future.

Uranus can make us feel uneasy, anxious, and chaotic—but he also dislodges us from stuckness. If we’ve been feeling stubborn or caught in old patterns, we might find ourselves breaking free. The planets are rapidly pushing us onto our next trajectories. Uranus is the planet of instant liberation. Invisible to the human eye, he operates beyond space and time, helping us shift miraculously, without hesitation.

Both Uranus and Aquarius love authenticity, community, and progress. Oriented toward the future, they reinvent all facets of reality while finding ingenious, novel solutions to longstanding problems. They encourage unity, radical acceptance, and thoughts of enlightened society.

How can we allow the electric currents of this New Moon to help us feel more confident in expressing our authentic selves? In being who we truly are, regardless of outside opinion? How can we establish community and connections that feel more inclusive and loving, even when we hold divergent views?

We are becoming more of ourselves without apology, breaking out of conditioning that keeps us rigid and separate while shedding dynamics that have made us feel like outsiders—unloveable and misunderstood.

A future era is rapidly unfurling. In this new paradigm, people are rising together, demonstrating what happens when we act from our genuine hearts rather than painful indoctrination. Our value systems have led us to anger, aggression, and insatiable desire rather than to wholeness, purpose, and real love. We are challenging these ideologies that have kept us divided and unfulfilled for too long. It’s time to buck against the status quo with bold defiance, shining in new frequencies of joy, humor, and uninhibited creativity.

On this Aquarius New Moon, may we find the audacity to embody true freedom, sincerity, and acceptance. May we forge new communities and value systems that honor and include all—that are rooted in love, clarity, and the recognition of our interconnection.
