September 29, 2023 — An Aries Full Moon arrives on Friday, opening the eclipse portal. The first eclipse of the season arrives in two weeks, and karma is now accelerating. As always, eclipse season warps time and space as unexpected events slingshot us toward evolution. After a long period of pause and introspection with Venus and Mercury retrograding, this will feel like a contrast of energy. Clarity and breakthrough are ready to cut through the fog.

Ruled by Mars, god of war, Aries inspires anger, directness, courage, and a quickening of pace. This lunation may draw hidden truths to the surface, forcing us into action while encouraging us to move past doubt, hesitation, and wavering. If we’ve been feeling stuck, especially in our relationships or self-worth, we may now experience an abrupt shift. The shock is emphasized by Venus forming her third and final square to electric Uranus.

With Mars in Libra preparing to cross the south node, it’s important to find balance through it all. While this is a time of epic release, decision-making, and letting go, we can handle whatever arises with compassion and grace. As eclipse season approaches, a lot is ready to change in our long-standing relationships. We can notice what’s coming up and where we feel agitated—this is where we’re ready for a significant shake up.

As we stand in the wake of Venus retrograde, we have a better understanding of what’s important to us. From here, the Full Moon is empowering us to make decisive moves and reorient to all that is authentic, true, and tethered to our deepest values and longings. We can gather the courage to say yes to what we want, and to cut out what no longer serves us. All the while, we can remember that even with all that we’ve suffered and endured, we can still find a spark and embody our childlike nature—our joy, vitality, and adventurousness. We can keep going, feeling confident in ourselves, each other, and the world, knowing that we have strength, resilience, and the ability to regenerate again and again.
