December 26, 2023 — A Cancer Full Moon forms on December 26, the final lunation of the year. This brings issues of family, home, close friendships, and our inner lives to culmination. Emotions are taking precedence over practical matters and outside expectations. The most important question to ask ourselves is: How do we feel? We can build a cozy nest and open up anything we’ve kept locked inside.

Mars is squaring Neptune, exact on December 28, giving us an opportunity to rest, meditate, and relax as much as possible. With Mercury stationing retrograde until January 1, this is a potent time for reflection and recalibration. We can pause to look back on the year and any issues that have been percolating. We are integrating—considering what’s transpired and how we’re experiencing it in our bodies, minds, and hearts.

We can now reset, cry, and release. We are letting emotions move through us and creating the space we need to heal.

Cancer FUll Moon Aspiration

On this Cancer Full Moon, may we pause to go inward, letting go of any grief, sadness, or frustration that’s accumulated. May we take time to ourselves, recharging and reflecting on who and what makes us feel like we’re home.
