January 25, 2024 — Our first Full Moon of 2024 occurs on Thursday in Leo, sign of the dramatic and ferocious Lion. The Sun joins with transformative Pluto, who has just moved into Aquarius. The Sun, Pluto, and the Moon are at 90º angles to expansive Jupiter in a potent T-square configuration. We are feeling into the axis of Leo and Aquarius acutely—finding the balance between our individual expressions and pleasures and our interconnection to all beings.

How can we offer our gifts in meaningful ways to our communities and humanity at large? How can we experience pleasure as we face harsh truths and work toward significant change?

Mercury, Venus, and Mars are still forming a Capricorn stellium, anchoring us into the steady momentum, perseverance, and structure that we need. We may feel a combination of wild creativity, visions of the future, and the quiet diligence and practicality that can lead us to success. Pluto is stripping us down, showing us what’s important and what’s true. The Leo Moon wants us to open our hearts to joy and pleasure, even amidst the suffering of being human.

While the energies are becoming chaotic, we are grounding into reality—inspired to work hard and achieve our dreams. We can allow our imaginations, inventiveness, joy, and insight to shine as we construct the next iterations of our lives and world.
