unfinished business

Today, Mars Retrograde returns to Scorpio, marking a significant period of reexamining old relationships, past flings, and power dynamics. With the Sun and Venus in Gemini, and with Saturn squaring Jupiter and Neptune, now is the time to sink into our most hidden corners to locate the lies that we are still telling ourselves and each other. While we may be feeling pushed, pressed, heavy, or raw, this is fundamentally an opportunity to shed layers of our being that no longer serve us. We are in the process of becoming far more genuine as we purge the closets of our psyche, relax into collective softening, and move forward.
Dynamics between men and women and around gender and sexuality are also surfacing. As a society, we may be asking ourselves how we can become more honest and open. How can we collectively heal, move into compassion, and work through anger and blame? On a personal level, we may be contemplating which relationships we are still holding onto and why. What wounds do we still need to address? It would serve us to ask where we could forgive each other and ourselves so we may release judgment, finally moving into unconditional love for all beings—even the ones who have hurt us the most.
Ultimately, we have no choice but to change right now, and our best approach is to adapt and embrace it. If we weren’t feeling slammed or pressure-cooked, how would we ever transform? How would we have the opportunity to grow so quickly? In this way, we might feel gratitude for the intensity, presenting so we may further awaken.
