January 18, 2022—Today is one of the most important transits of the year. The Lunar Nodes are changing signs, moving from Gemini and Sagittarius onto the Taurus-Scorpio axis. After a 1.5-year period of political strife, conspiracies, overwhelm, and deciphering between fact and fiction, we are moving into a markedly quieter period. 

The South Node is where we have work to do karmically in order to heal our harmful patterns, while the North Node represents our highest evolutionary potentials. With the North Node in Taurus, we can look to the Bull's most enlightened qualities as our medicine—such as earthiness, practicality, simplicity, and patience. The neurotic potentials of Scorpio reveal what we need to shed.

During this transit, we could see disasters pertaining to the environment, finances, and resources that ultimately push us into the next phase of humanity. Since Scorpio rules psychology, sexuality, and our shadows, we could also place greater focus on mental health. We can become more pragmatic about our spiritual, psychological, and sexual healing, with more emphasis on where trauma lives in our bodies.

The Taurus North Node teaches us how to live more simply, with less Scorpionic strife and needless complication. If we lose our minds, we can touch Earth and come back. We are surrendering to change and releasing our addictions to power and materialism to the fires of transformation. Above all, we are stepping toward harmony and love as we learn to honor our bodies and Mother Earth.

For the next 1.5 years, it’s time to elevate our relationships and intimacy and prioritize peace. We can grow food, strip our lives down to the bare essentials, and discover how resourceful we can be.

If you are around 18, 37, 55, or 74 years old, you’re ready to have your Nodal Return within the next eighteen months. This is a time when you'll feel aligned with your true life path. Circumstances and conditions can click together in auspicious alignment.

If you are around 27, 46, 64, or 83 year old, it’s time for your Reverse Nodal Return. The focus is on karmic clean up and rectifying past wrongs and outworn patterns for the sake of rapid growth.
