November 1, 2023 — November begins in the wake of two potent eclipses, with a dramatic Scorpio New Moon closing the portal mid-month. This lunation will activate our deepest desires and trigger breakthroughs and shocking turns of events. Mars is traveling with the Sun until mid-November, and our anger, aggression, and desires are amplified. It’s important that we manage our tempers and carefully decide where we’re going and how we want to get there.

Uranus opposes the Sun, Mercury, and Mars this month, so we can expect the unexpected. We’re breaking out of stagnation and overflowing with ideas, solutions, and authentic expressions of who we are and what we desire. A sense of urgency, truth, and vitality is helping to bring an end to difficult, stuck, or troubling chapters. While there may be intensity or anxiety in the air, there could also be excitement on a personal level. Our lives are changing radically—and there’s no stopping us.

Meanwhile, we will likely see an upswell in altruism and protests. Uranus is the planet of the people. Powerful efforts and voices that emerge from the ground up will help steer the ship on the collective stage. We’re continuing to bring an end to the old paradigm and more fully inhabit the Aquarian Age—which is marked by humanitarianism and rebellion.

By the end of the month, Saturn is challenging us, helping us ground and question whatever choices we’ve made and directions we’ve chosen. We may feel hindrances to our bursts of progress, but Saturn is making sure that we embody integrity. He’s calling attention to where we’re having the same disagreements and mental loops that get us nowhere. We can call on our perseverance to manage our thoughts and restrain ourselves in important conversations.

This month sparks profound changes of course. It’s up to us to listen, learn, and process so that we can move into our next chapters with greater ease—and with tremendous care, maturity, compassion, and intelligence.

NOVEMBER 2023 TRANSITS

SUN + MARS CONJUNCTION

From October 23 to December 15, the Sun and Mars are traveling together, stirring up aggression, passion, and drive. We’re ready to take action and free ourselves from stagnation and stuckness.

VENUS OPPOSITE NEPTUNE, TRINE PLUTO, ENTERING LIBRA

Love is in the air November 3 through November 6, when Venus, planet of romance, opposes dreamy Neptune and trines transformative, obsessive Pluto. Our hearts are ignited, and we’re noticing that fantasies and passions are stirred. When Venus moves into Libra on November 8, our amorousness and longing for peace will increase even more, offering a helpful, balanced backdrop to Mars’ ongoing intensity.

GRAND EARTH TRINE:
VENUS, URANUS, + PLUTO

A grand earth trine forms between Venus, Uranus, and Pluto on November 6. We’re reinventing and transmuting love and peace, determining how we can best serve ourselves, each other, and the world. As we become more secure and authentic, our relationships shift. We can appreciate that our connections are evolving, becoming deeper and more genuine.

SUN + MARS OPPOSE URANUS

On November 11 through 14, Mars and the Sun oppose Uranus. We may notice anxiety brewing as unexpected events redirect us. Volatility is likely, but so are big shifts in courage and connection. Innovative solutions to long-standing ruts and problems are now possible.

SCORPIO NEW MOON

A powerful Scorpio New Moon forms on November 13, conjunct Mars and opposite to Uranus, bringing a crescendo to Uranus’ electric confrontations. Revolutions around intimacy are possible, along with great surprises and jolts of truth. We’re ready to forge more meaningful relationships with ourselves, each other, and the world. Sudden change is inevitable, and it’s possible that we’ll feel freer and more liberated as a result.

SUN + MARS SQUARE SATURN

On November 22, the Sun squares constrictive Saturn. From November 24 to 26, Mars enters Sagittarius and follows suit. Our progress and eruptions of change may feel challenged now. If we’ve been overzealous or dogmatic, we may find that our beliefs are up for questioning. We’re likely to experience pain or fighting over conflicting ideologies. We’d be best served by slowing down and taking the time to learn more and act in accordance with our truth rather than preaching it. Vigilance and strength are necessary in this time of great calamity and strife in the collective. How can we find inner stamina and resolve to understand ourselves better, cultivating peace from within?

GEMINI FULL MOON

A Gemini Full Moon forms on November 27, squaring karmic Saturn. This Moon ignites the ongoing ideological tensions that have reached crescendo in recent days. Difficult conversations are possible, and we may find ourselves exhausted by repetitive loops. This is the time to slow down and release dogma, applying concerted effort to hearing one another and taking in opposing sides. It’s important that we apply enormous compassion and understanding to ourselves and each other, remembering that our disagreements never diminish our love and interconnection.

With Venus nearing the South Node in Libra, we are working hard to purify tired obstacles to harmony, accord, and love. Productive confrontations could help us in this pursuit. We only need to show up with integrity and the willingness to listen and lay down our arms.

November 2023 Aspiration

As the weather shifts, may we feel the planets’ calls for courage, heart, and sudden breakthroughs and disruptions. May we release dogma and allow our minds to be changed, embodying new frequencies of love, peace, and connection that felt previously impossible.
