November 19, 2024 — On Tuesday, Pluto moves into Aquarius for the third and final time—we’re finally here! Like mountain goats who’ve been climbing active volcanoes, we’ve arrived, and we’re ready to glimpse the new horizon. But frankly, the world is feeling a little weird. During this ingress, Mars is in his shadow opposing Pluto; the Sun is opposing Uranus; and Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn are in a tense T-square. Surreality has taken root, and there’s a strange calm in the air as we sit and wait for what’s to come—which may not be what anyone is expecting.

World events are concerning, to say the least, and on a personal level, we’re wrapping up important work—graduating from arduous hard-won lessons that began back in 2008. While the Aquarius age poses new epic challenges and emphases (AI, the threat of tech authoritarianism, aliens?, for eg), there’s also a distinct feeling that we will rally together and look after each other.

Innovations are coming—ones that stand to change the course of humanity and our lives. We’re ready to come up against the blessings and destruction of technological advancement as inventiveness soars to new heights.

This is the culmination of a long period of epic release and toppling old paradigms. We’ve been transforming collective and personal karma, and crises have emerged around systems, structures, and society. Now, we may enter fights over what new world we’re ready to construct.

Looking ahead, we will likely see more people rising, continuing to revolt against oppression, fascism, and needless violence, war, and atrocities, and rebelling against the weight of the past. We’re envisioning the future and becoming its architects, and we need to ensure that we’re beginning with clear minds and compassion for all.

For anyone with planets or angles in Aquarius, this has been the most important transit of our lifetime, transforming us from the inside out. We may notice that we’re beginning to feel stronger, wiser, and more genuinely powerful and whole, even in the face of great challenges.

Pluto in Aquarius is activating a particular house in our natal charts, calling for alchemy in that area of life. Unconscious material is surfacing for the purpose of looking our demons in the eye and liberating from them. This work is intense but deeply necessary for our spiritual paths as we pursue healing and wholeness. We are ready to become multidimensional, intuitive, and egalitarian, considering the whole more than our egos and selfish desires.

Whatever challenges the world and this new era present, we have to remember that we have each other’s backs. Each of us has something important to contribute in creating enlightened society. It begins with our individual liberation—freeing ourselves from external control or oppression, either from society or our technological devices. It’s time to come out of isolation and join together in powerful, effective, healthy communities. We’re in this together.

PLUTO IN AQUARIUS AFFIRMATION

As Pluto moves into Aquarius, beginning a new twenty year cycle, may we clear our minds, open our hearts, and join together in collective liberation. May we root into courage, compassion, and healthy rebellion. We can hold the vision that anything is possible if we heal ourselves and help others do the same.
