December 1, 2024 — A Sagittarius New Moon arrives on Sunday, falling opposite expansive Jupiter while squaring disciplined Saturn. The Archer is all about truth and adventure—he wants to find deeper meaning and constantly asks, “Why?” With Jupiter and Saturn’s aspects, we are questioning our beliefs and decisions. We’re determining where we have gone wrong and committing to making rectifications.

While Mercury retrograde isn’t conjunct this New Moon, it is falling in opposition to Jupiter—so he’s part of the conversation right now. We are turning inward, reflecting, recalibrating, and reviewing recent conversations and interactions with others. We’re examining beliefs and seeing where we’re become too rigid or gone awry with overthinking or rushing to conclusions.

The future is very much unwritten, and we’re feeling that more than ever right now. Mars is also in retrograde, opposite Pluto, and over the next couple of months, we’re determining our next steps. What do we desire? What has been blocking us? What patterns, self-sabotaging behaviors, or impulses have been leading us astray?

It’s never too late to heal and adjust course. It’s never too late to admit where we’ve been wrong. As we barrel into a time of great change, we’re beginning by correcting our thoughts and healing our relationships. We’re ready for greater truth, less selfishness, and deeper meaning.

During this period of two retrogrades, we’re getting quiet within ourselves. From here, we can work together toward greater collective change. Once again, it’s important to remember that we don’t know what the future holds. It will be written by us, and influenced heavily by whether we decide to take responsibility for our karma and heal our own hearts.

If we do, so much is possible. The horizons are broadening, and on this New Moon, the Archer is pointing us toward heights that seemed previously unattainable.

On this Sagittarius New Moon, may we admit our mistakes and adjust course as needed. May we turn inward and determine what we truly want. Anything is possible if we embody clarity, honesty, and integrity, balancing hope with a willingness to do the work.
