Saturn Stations Direct:
making new agreements

September 18, 2019 — Today, Saturn stations direct in Capricorn. Saturn is Lord of Karma, who represents systems, structures, responsibility, and pragmatism. Planetary energies have been heavy leading up to this shift. We’ve been wrapping up a six-month period of karmic compression, as Saturn has danced around Pluto and the South Node. The planets have forced us to look back to previous traumas, mistakes, and oppression, both as individuals and as a collective.

With Saturn now stationing direct, we’re ready to establish new structures, boundaries, and agreements, and even build a new reality. With the North Node in Cancer all the while, we can’t forget to feel, cry, and expose our vulnerabilities.

From the shadows, we’re now ready to point toward the light—toward what could be, after a painful period of honest reflection. Weary and worn down by Saturn’s strict insistence, we’re beginning to see a glimmer of the new paradigm on the horizon.

Are we finally too tired of fighting to keep up with our divisiveness? Have Saturn and Pluto sandpapered us enough so that we’re softer, more vulnerable and open?

Maybe we’re seeing that it takes more energy to close our hearts than to relax, include, listen and love. The new paradigm is meant to be kind and egalitarian, after all. We’re now emerging from a deep examination of all that’s been blocking us from this reality.

As Saturn stations direct, may we find the courage and resilience to continue rectifying wrongs, acknowledging our blocks, and owning our mistakes. May we work together to build a new reality that’s more loving, inclusive, and kind.
