October 25, 2022 — A Solar Eclipse arrives on Tuesday at 3:48am Pacific Time—a partial Solar Eclipse visible from Europe and Asia. The eclipse is occurring near the South Node, which represents our stuck habitual patterns. Because it is a New Moon, now is the time to release the past and anything we’ve outgrown in order to spark a fresh start. Falling exactly conjunct Venus, this Solar Eclipse is triggering transformations around love, creativity, and values.

The two relational planets are obscuring the Sun, our ego, emphasizing our emotions, connections, and internal states. We are now stepping onto entirely new paths of connection. We can turn our focus toward our relational dynamics and patterns, and what we need to do to rectify and transmute them.

This Scorpio Solar Eclipse is the first of two eclipses (the second arrives on November 8). We are opening a vortex that compresses space and time, speeding up our trajectories of evolution. Truth is revealing itself. We can rally the courage to face ourselves and each other honestly, without flinching or running away.

Here lies one of the highest potentials of Scorpio—to deepen our intimacy by allowing ourselves to become more vulnerable and exposed. Scorpio also asks us to notice where we’re gripping too hard out of fear—then surrender and release it. 

Where have we been trying to control our lives to our detriment? Where have we been self-sabotaging? How have we been avoiding genuine connection?

We can let go and trust our unfolding, which is more possible if we increase our self-worth. In the wake of a Venus cazimi in Libra, the Sun, Moon, and Venus in Scorpio are now helping us deepen our love, beginning with ourselves.

How can we face the entirety of our beings—even the messy parts—and love it all?

We can embrace our truth and celebrate this opportunity to deepen our hearts and relationships. True love, after all, means we accept ourselves as we are, not just our favorite parts. Love becomes healthier when both parties do the work—not allowing their behaviors to be ruled by unconscious patterns.

Anything is possible during eclipse season. It’s like the Wheel of Fortune in tarot, churning up karmic storms, after which the pieces of our lives could fall anywhere. Whatever happens, we can relax and prepare for intimate breakthroughs, release, and the forging of more meaningful bonds. We’re ultimately becoming more of who we are. This is establishing a foundation for creating enlightened society—infused with deeper love, intimacy, vulnerability, and truth.
