June 20, 2016 — Happy Solstice! Not only is today the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, it is also a Full Moon—a rare coincidence. Today's Full Moon is far from ordinary. It is the second of two Sagittarius Full Moons in the past month, sandwiching a pivotal moment in our collective awakening. While energies may feel chaotic, we can trust that this is because anything out of alignment with truth and higher frequency is dislodging and dissolving. As Buddhist teacher Chögyam Trunpga Rinpoche said, "Chaos should be regarded as extremely good news." Sometimes we have to fall apart to be reborn, and here we find ourselves, in the midst of beautiful chaos, right before our collective rebirth.

Within the confusion, the past several weeks have been ripe with deep lessons. Mars has been retrograding, and today the Sun is at his zenith while opposing the Moon, restoring the balance between male and female energies. The collective masculine is experiencing a major transition of softening and reevaluation, while women are moving further into their power. As the genders harmonize, we are coming together to learn from one another and to awaken through relationship. Our belief systems are coming into question (Saturn square Neptune), along with our collective bigotry and aggression (Mars Retrograde in Scorpio). The universe is asking us to reexamine our fear and surrender what is no longer serving us.

Of all the lessons and energies swirling about right now, perhaps the most important is our relationship with blame and noticing how we project onto others. On this day of tenfold manifestation, may we consider inviting our demons to tea. May we relax enough to really listen to them—whether they're showing up as fear, trauma, anxiety, depression, or another person with whom we disagree. What would happen if we surrendered our rigid viewpoints and just listened to whatever our demons are longing for us to hear? Perhaps we would see them instantly transform into wisdom and love, at the mercy of our perception. With the lightning-bolt insight of Uranus trining today's Moon, we may suddenly discover that our enemies were love all along, obscured by ignorance, confusion, and aggression—which every single human experiences.

Truth is arising right now, surfacing above painful lies and deception. Our aggression is bursting to the fore in order for it to soften. Though we may be feeling overwhelmed by personal struggles and the deep problems we face as humanity, now is the time to grow fully into ourselves and our true nature, to emit light into the little worlds we create around us, and to live as examples of unconditional love, one individual at a time.
