October 22, 2022 — A Venus cazimi forms on October 22, 2022, at 2:17pm Pacific Time, at 29° Libra. This means that Venus will cross the Sun, amplifying her gifts—including romance, connection, beauty, pleasure, and creativity. The Sun will purify Venus and our hearts, helping us find clarity and insights in the domains of love, justice, and values.

This is a beautiful time to write down all that we’re wanting to call in, setting intentions for the types of love and relationships that we crave. We can be sure to socialize and strengthen our friendships while also forging new bonds.

We have the chance now for fresh starts in all of our relationships as well as patterns of attachment. Self-love is essential, and we might take a moment to appreciate and spoil ourselves with pleasure and beautification.

This Venus cazimi is extra potent because we are beginning a whole new Venus star point cycle on October 22. The points on the zodiac wheel where Venus cazimis occur form a star or pentagram. This particular leg of the pentagram has fallen in Scorpio for the past 150 years. Now we are beginning a journey through Libra—a sign that Venus rules—making this an even more significant transit.

As we begin this Venus star point cycle, we are opening a new chapter in love and romance in the collective sphere. We’ve been transitioning into the Aquarian age, and improving our relationships is becoming more paramount. Addressing how we connect is the foundation for creating enlightened society.

We are also in the midst of eclipse season, with a Scorpio Solar Eclipse arriving on October 25, followed by a Taurus Lunar Eclipse on November 8. The rulers of Taurus and Scorpio (Venus and Mars) are very activated right now—The Venus cazimi is in effect, while Mars prepares for his months-long retrograde. We are recalibrating love and sex, and it would be wise to slow down and carefully consider what and who we want to connect with, how we can shift out of toxic relational patterns, and how we can use our words wisely for the benefit of ourselves and others, rather than creating more harm, division, or toxicity.
