September 6, 2021 — A Virgo New Moon arrives on Monday, trining electric Uranus while in close proximity to fiery Mars. Mars has been opposing Neptune for the past several days, plunging us into confusion and uncertainty. He now forms a supportive trine to empowering Pluto, while Mercury—our mind—trines stabilizing Saturn. We are regaining strength, confidence, and clarity, after feeling lost at sea and out of control. This New Moon in Virgo is offering a fresh start, while imbuing us with practicality and sanity. The planets are supporting us to find our ground, to feel refreshed and capable of perseverance and steady resolve.

We can now experience breakthroughs around who we are and where we are heading. Our intentions and boundaries have become crystal clear—a welcome contrast to Neptune’s fog, which surrounded us this week.

This New Moon offers a particularly good moment to begin a new health routine or a daily schedule that better supports our bodies, minds, and spirits. Perhaps we are emerging from some sort of crisis feeling stronger—filled with reinvention and rebirth. We’ve been allowing our grief to break open, and now we can find fresh jolts of inspiration and hope, which will carry us through the next six months. 

Meanwhile, Venus is trining Jupiter, increasing our optimism, especially around love and relationships. As Venus also squares Pluto, we are learning just how much our hearts can hold. Rather than buckling under the pressure of heavy feelings, lives, and the outer world, we are learning just how much we’re capable of—how much we can expand to rise and meet more challenges, healing more and loving more as we contribute to meaningful change.

Our intuition is strong today. We can simply allow our hearts and instincts to lead us to our next steps. We can notice that we have ample strength, resolve, and ingenuity to solve our problems and continue on our journeys.
